SCC Christmas Store

The Manor School Community Council organized a Christmas Store on December 15th  at the Manor School gym. Families and community members donated new and used items for the store. Carlyle Home Hardware donated the wrapping paper and the tape for the event.  Each student was given play money to use to buy gifts for their family members, friends and maybe even something for themselves. The SCC members were on site to help with the wrapping of the gifts as well. The high school students helped the elementary students with their shopping and their gift wrapping. All of the students enjoyed their time at the Christmas Store and were very excited and proud to be taking gifts home for their families. There will definitely be some surprises under the tree this year. We look forward to making this an annual event for our students as it was a great way to bring our community and our school family together.
